Bi-folding or French doors?

You spend so much time on your garden throughout spring and summer yet you don’t seem to be able to fully appreciate the perfect grass, pristine decking and delightful pond from the comfort of your own home. Warmseal think it’s time you considered a new tactic; bi-folding doors or French doors. The addition of one of these genius inventions could just be exactly what you need to open up your home to the outside world.

Bring the outside into your home

Inserting bi-folding or French doors into your home is the perfect way to appreciate your garden and bring the outside world into your home. Not only will you be able to admire your hard work in the garden but you will be able to do so from the comfort and warmth of the inside of your home.

If you take good care of your garden it may seem wasted if you can’t appreciate it all the time and show it off when people come to visit. One of these styles of door will allow you to take full advantage of your work.

Both of these types of door will allow a good amount of light into your home which will brighten up the room as well as giving you and your guests a beautiful view of the outdoors. This can also be beneficial in the winter when light seems to be difficult to come by.

Also, if you have animals or children, this is a great way to keep an eye on them when they’re entertaining themselves in the garden. It almost makes the garden seem like a new room in the house as there is a link created between the inside and outside which you could never see before.

Some slight differences

Both of these door options are brilliant ideas to improving your home and whichever one you go for will make your home more beautiful whilst also adding value to the market price. However, there are some differences between these two great designs. The bi-folding door option is favourable to those who want almost a full wall to be glass or a full wall to open. This option gives a complete view of the garden as it stretches the length of the room in which you have it installed. This is great for

light and to open up your home to the outside world. If your bi-folding doors open out onto a nice patio or decking area this can look extremely pleasant.

Bi-folding doors take the latest and most innovative technology to add space to your home and make it look a good deal more modern.

French doors are another popular design that brings light and an ample view of your garden. They are very similar to the bi-folding doors but can offer a little more privacy as they do not stretch the full length of the room. This option is also slightly more traditional as they open the same way that a normal door would open.
