As you all know, Warmseal have been the largest supplier and installer of windows, doors and conservatories in the North East for more than 25 years and we’re very proud of our brand.
However we recently decided we wanted to bring the brand to life so people could interact with it more. Working with our marketing agency, who created a character based on the original seal logo, we realised we needed a name for the newest member of the team. That’s when we decided the run a competition with the local primary school in Throckley.
All the kids really got involved and we had some great suggestions but one really stood out for us.
Sid the seal was born
As a thank you we sent winner Georgia Taylor (7) – pictured below with the newly liveried fleet of Ford Connects from Arnold Clark – and her class to see the real life seals at the Seal Life Centre in North Shields.
A great time was had by all. So thanks to Georgia we now have Sid the Seal fronting our TV campaign and he is increasingly being recognised across the North East.
