Casement Windows

The casement window is the most popular and versatile window design and can be manufactured with a wide variety of fixed and opening sashes. Bay windows are easily accommodated.

Warmseal casement windows are made form 70mm profile sections which are reinforced with galvanised steel for structural strength. The profile has a 'multi-chamber' design which gives added insulation and noise reduction.

The window is glazed with double glazed sealed units up to 28mm, for extra insulation. Glass options include decorative, leaded. patterned, safety, reinforced and low emissivity ranges.

The glazing is fitted with an internal bead which offers higher security. The 'scotia bead', creates an attractive, decorative effect.

The use of a concealed glazing gasket increases the glass area and improves the visual appearance of the window.

The windows are fitted with high security friction hinges, keeping the sashes in any opening position, plus a choice of handles.

Highest specification locking systems using the latest technological developments.

Casement windows are available in white or two woodgrain effects - 'cherry' and ' rosewood'

The profiles are assessed to a range of BS and BBA standards to ensure highest quality and casement windows are certified to BS 7412 and BS 7950 (PAS-011) security standards, subject to specification.

PVCu windows are made from lengths or 'profile' of extruded PVCu, which are cut and made into windows to meet individual styles and sizes by local, independent manufactures and installers.

Consequently the quality of PVCu windows begins with the window profile.
